I have asked people that, if they want a Redmi 2 customization guide. I will be writing it. Here is the guide to make your Redmi 2 looks Flat.
Summery.
1. Nova launcher. ( how to set, see below guide)
2. Icon path - minimal UI.
3. Install QuickPic (why? See guide)
4. Install Greenify.
5. YOU ALL DONE.
We all love our Redmi 2 device, it's pretty cool.
Now seek into customizing Redmi 2.
You will need to root your device first and follow the steps to install custom recovery ie. CWM.
Once downloaded tap the Downloaded file (if from the website) and then tap Install button. Within moments, it will be installed.
Or open Nova App and go to its setting you will see a red section saying to make nova your default launcher.
Note - after setting nova as default, press the menu button and keep pressing the X button. You will see running in background apps, search Launcher and clean it from memory.
Nova is the fasted launcher for Android.
Many features to tweak overall experience.
Custom icons.
Note - if you're using Cracked Nova launcher prime, you need to restrict Nova launcher accessing The internet.
Here is how, go to ¬ Security app ¬ data usage ¬ restrict app data usage ¬ Nova launcher.
This step seek you into a decent interface of your phone if chosen correctly.
Open up play store and search 'icon packs' you will see a lot of packs, download any you like.
Recommended icon packs for a flat UI look.
¬ Minimal UI. (paid) (#1)
¬ Shaded icons.
¬ other flat UI icon packs.
I will now demonstrate how to install Minimal UI icon pack and install that.

> Or you can try it from a 3rd party website for free. Search minimal UI Paid free download.
> Or use any free flat UI icon packs from. Play store. Choice of yours.

Note - You may now know that changing wallpaper to the desktop from the Gallery apps is prohibited while changing to lock screen is working.
Method one, keep pressing the some screen, you will see Nova wallpaper button tap and change.

Update redmi 2 into Android 6 Marshmallow and enjoy your phone like never before.You will need to root your device first and follow the steps to install custom recovery ie. CWM.
Method 2. Without Root.
1. Installing Nova launcher and replacing Default Launcher.
First, you the latest version of Nova launcher there are pretty reliable ways to download nova, one is Google play, store and other is an official nova site, from the site you can download the latest version before it comes to play store. ( Direct official download link Latest Nova launcher 4.2.1 - Direct download Nova Apk)Once downloaded tap the Downloaded file (if from the website) and then tap Install button. Within moments, it will be installed.

2.1 Applying Icon packs.
